ISAIAS FIGUEIRÓ

   Through pastor's Isaias Figueiró ministry development, God has manifested wonders and signs, many times through word of wisdom about illnesses, other times by discerning of spirits. From now on, you will read about some of the miracle and deliverance testimonies we experienced in these twelve years of work, and you will see that God does it in amazing ways.

   - Crusade of Faith in Porto Alegre, Vila Nova, 1989. In his first crusade, pastor Isaias preached about the passage of Luke 19:1, when Jesus goes to Zacchaeus' saying: "...this man was chief among publicans and people would not like him. Many did not agree that Jesus was going to his house, but God saved him. There are people here tonight that do not believe that God wants to save them, but I say: Christ came for you, to forgive you, to save and heal you!" A policeman was there that night, a mean man, with a violent past, in a wheel chair due to a shot in the spine. After the Word ministration, this man felt God's touch and repented of his sins. When there was praying for healing, he rose up from the wheel chair and walked glorifying God.

   - Crusade of Faith in Taquari, 1989. A known man in the city was bothered when he got to know that his two daughters fell down when touched by God's power in a crusade. He told the girls that he would attend the next meeting and if they would fall again, he would bit them and the preacher. So he hid a horsewhip under his jacket and when hands were laid upon him he fell down touched by the power of God. Astonished and regretted, he confessed God his sins, and testified telling everyone what happened.

   - Crusade of Faith in Novo Hamburgo, 1989. Two couples, that were not aware of the crusade, planed to go out for dinner together. The place chose to meet was the square where the tents were. One of the couples was late, so the other watched the beginning of the meeting. When seeing God's power manifestation, they decided to get in and both of them were redeemed and set free from occult religion and concluded that in truth God had arranged a meeting with them.

   - Crusade of Faith in Porto Alegre, Vila Nova. After the preaching, a young boy left the crusade, giving up the purpose he had made for the night. When he entered his house gate - a block far from the tents - he fell down touched by the power of God and he only stood up by the end of the prayer for deliverance. Then, he ran back to the crusade, crying and saying he wanted Jesus to take over his life.

    - Crusade of Faith in Taquari. Through twelve crusade nights, a couple would pass in front of the tents mocking and calling everyone insane and fanatic. On the 13th, the last crusade night, it happened once more. The man was a musician, and the woman, a carnival and nightclub dancer, established to be a witch. The lady said to her partner: "Tonight, let's see what they are doing?" When she was getting out of the car, she fell down possessed by a demon, so she was taken to the liberation tent. Seeing all this, her husband was touched by the Holy Spirit, and both cried and offered Jesus their lives.
    One other night, Paulo Figueiró told Isaias, his brother, that the Lord had spoken to him revealing that He would restore somebody's sight. Many miracles happened, including sight restoring ones, but God was showing that there was one missing. So, when Isaias was getting down from the platform, a man came to him asking for his wife that was home because she had lost the sight in one eye, and, according to MD's, it should be taken out in order to not let the other eye get sick, because she would go completely blind if so. When Isaias got to the man's house, he saw the woman had a dressing that completely covered the sick eye, so Isaias laid hands upon her claiming for healing. Some days after, this lady went to Porto Alegre to take out the sick eye, but doctors were surprised when removing the dressing because the eye was perfect and the lady could see again.

    - Crusade of Faith in Guajuviras District, Canoas. In 1991, on a thirteen-night crusade when many miracles happened, a man bought a tape recorded in one of these nights so his wife could listen to it at home. On the next weekend, a sister-in-law, her husband and two kids visited this couple, one of them was two and the other was seven months old. The younger kid was ill, and his parents, by mistake, gave him the wrong medicine, so the boy started to have convulsion and his heart begin to fail. They took the boy to the neighborhood medical center and the MD who saw the kid said: "If this child convulse again, hospitalization will be necessary". Around midnight, another convulsion began, stronger, and the baby's mom asked the host lady to hold the kid. She was holding the baby in her arms and crying out Jesus' name when she turned on the stereo, then the crusade recording started to play and the preacher was saying on it: "Death Spirit, get out! Lord, touch with your power, bring Your life..." So the baby, that almost couldn't breathe, was completely healed. On the following Monday, they all went to Pastor's Isaías Figueiró office to testify. The whole family was saved.

    - Crusade of Faith in Sapucaia. In 1992, a lady came to the crusade tent by the afternoon, asking for prayer for her son, that was seriously ill, but the doctors couldn't tell what was it. By that time, there were there only the keepers, who told the lady to come back later, by the evening, during the meeting. She couldn't come at night, so she asked where was the exact place where the Pastor used to pray laying hands upon the ill. Soon after the keepers answered her question, a strong presence of God was felt, and the lady grabbed some sawdust from the floor in front of the platform and put it in a popcorn bag. She took it home and made a tea out of it and gave her son to drink. We praise the Lord for the boy was healed.

   - Crusades of Faith in Pelotas and Rio Grande The crusades in which we could see God's power greatest manifestation were in Pelotas and Rio Grande, in 1995 and 1996, when thousand of people were saved, healed, set free and edified by the presence of the Holy Spirit. On the last meeting in Pelotas, 1996, the tent was crowded, the City Major and other authority people were there. Before the prayer for the ill, God reveled that many miracles would happen that evening. Due to that, Pastor Isaías asked: "Are there any doctors here?" And two people, a man and a woman, raised their hands. "Please, stand here, by the platform. Tonight, you'll see miracles", said Isaías. The man laughed. The Pastor asked him: "Do you believe?" "Who knows?" answered the doctor. Right away, Isaías, guided by the Holy Spirit, pointed his finger to the man and said: "Touch him, Lord." The man fell down instantly, and miracles kept on happening that night. Two months later, at a crusade in Rio Grande, this man - the MD - was testifying that he used to doubt miracles and the Gospel, but on that night in Pelotas he felt something moving on his back, and he was healed form a spine problem that used to bring him great pain and used to keep him away from work. The MD lady standing beside him had four teeth filled with gold.

    Other Opportunities

   In a Week of Faith, that took place in Teatro Presidente, in Porto Alegre, in 1996, a man called Paulo Varoni, economist, head auditor at Compania Riograndense de Telecomunicações (CRT), a skeptical man who wold not believe things he did not see, came to meeting one night. A gastric ulcer had been bringing him great pain and a constant bother for fifteen years. When the pastor was praying for healing and deliverance, he answered the appeal because he was thinking, "There must be hypnotism! I want to see how they apply it." And the Lord, knowing Mr. Varoni's thoughts, guided the pastor to pray pointing his finger to him. On that moment, he was touched by God and fell down feeling something moving in his stomach. When he stood up, he was healed and the pain and bother were gone forever. Nowadays he serves the Lord, and he is also a collaborator of the Crusades of Faith.

   Once a man dreamed about a preacher in a brown suit that would speak straight to him, calling him to repent of sin and have a new life with Jesus Christ. He woke up crying and thought about his life. Some days later, his aunt invited him to a reunion in the church. When he got to the meeting, he recognized Pastor Isaías as the preacher in his dream, and touched by what happened, he received Jesus as his Lord and Savior.

     CHRISTIAN LO IACONO

    The evangelist Christian Lo Iacono's ministry, from it's beginning, has been guided by a sincere and unconditional search for applying God's Word to his day life. And through this trajectory, God shared with him some of His unsearchable riches, like an unction to heal the ill - that was manifested for the first time when he was fifteen, when God used him to heal a girl that was born deaf - and an authority to set the captive free, that was also manifested in his youth. From now on, you can get to know of some amazing miracles that happened through his call, which became evident when God's Word and Prayer became his favorite meals.

    - Crusade of Faith in Vila Rica district, Gravataí.
    In March 1999, Christian Lo Iacono leaded a crusade in Vila Rica district, in the city of Gravataí. A man, who had a terrible infection in both kidneys, went to the first night meeting because of his wife, a Christian. When praying for the ill, the evangelist Christian pointed to this man - without knowing about his problem - and said God would heal him. Because of this, the man's wife pushed him forward, towards the platform, to receive prayer; saying that God was talking about him. In front of the platform, this man was mocking in his heart and did not believe he could be healed, but he felt his kidneys stinging though the prayer, and when he got home, he urinated blood. Four days after - the last crusade night - this man went back to the tent and on the platform he said: "I would like to tell the preacher I am sorry, because I didn't like the things he was saying the other night... I thought you all were charlatans... I had a surgery schedule for next week in both my kidneys and I could hardly move because the pain was unbearable. I had this problem for twelve years, and since the first crusade meeting, the pain is gone. I'm sorry and I'd like to say that now I believe there is a God for He healed me!"

    - Crusade of Faith in São José do Norte.
    From October 13th to the 16th, 1999, there was a crusade in São José do Norte, when we could see many manifestations of possessed people, because of a strong envelopment of the city with occult religions. On one crusade night, someone involved with an occult religion, on purpose, interrupted the energy distribution in the whole city, trying to frustrate the meeting, but it didn't happen. A generator supplied the electricity need for the night. This ministry bought it to be used in situations like this.

    - Crusade of Faith in Novo Hamburgo, Canudos.
    On November of the year 2000, in Canudos district, Novo Hamburgo, the evangelist Christian Lo Iacono faced one of the biggest multitudes in the 26x34m tent. There were people everywhere, in a very known location in the neighborhood. A young lady, brought by a Christian co-worker who had been healed and set free in a previous crusade, was instantly healed from a 15-cm tumor in her breast, for what a group of medical doctors could give no medical explanation. This miracle brought the lady's whole family to Jesus.

    - Crusade of Faith in Porto Alegre, Campo da Tuca.
    A little 11 years-old girl had her squinty eyes restored. Everyone would call her with a pejorative nickname ("cross-eyed") but when she went to the crusade and was healed, all her acquaintance could see God's miracle.

    - Crusade of Faith in Porto Alegre, Restinga.
    Some boys were watching the preacher lay hands upon people, God's power manifestation to set captives free, and they were laughing and making fun of that. Then their leader decided to try it, he stepped forward laughing to receive the prayer, he had rings and necklaces all over. When Christian laid his hands upon the boy's head, he lost his body control an fell down possessed, then he was taken to the liberation tent. His friends were watching it and got scared, so they asked to get into the tent too, because they wanted to give their lives to Christ.

    Many seven and eight years-old children would manifest possessed in this crusade. A seven years-old boy, that used to live with his grandma, during the prayer, would loose his consciousness and get as hard as a board and would clench with hate for the lady that mistreated him - his own grandma. He was taken to the deliverance tent and was ministered many times. On the last crusade night he got very happy for could feel the hate was gone.

    - Crusade of Faith in Pelotas, COHAB Lindóia.
    A lady had her skin restored from bad scarring after a month and 27 days she had been submitted to a caesarian. On the platform, she told the preacher that the 2 years-old kid she was holding in her arms was deaf, and she had to take him to Porto Alegre to be submitted to medical exams. Taking a faith step, Christian said the boy was healed. And to prove it, he asked someone to call the boy from his back three times. For everyone's surprise, the boy turned to the person that was calling him, although he had never seen this person before, right after his name was said. It happened in all three times. Amazed, his mother cried giving thanks to the Lord.

    - Crusade of Faith in Santa Catarina, Crisciúma
    In the first crusade in this southern Santa Catarina city, there was a woman that could not get pregnant because she no longer had her ovaries, for they were taken out in a very delicate surgery she had been submitted to. Taken to the meeting, still recovering from the surgery, she stayed in the car, so Christian went to her and prayed laying hands upon her and prophesied: "there shall not be male or female barren among you." (Deut. 7:14) The second time the Crusades of Faith went to Crisciúma, this woman testified her pregnancy on the platform to everyone with an eight months belly.
    Another woman that went to the crusade had her spine restored. She used to have a shorter leg and could not wear a bag over her shoulder, because if she did, she would fall down. On the platform, she testified that she felt her leg growing, and to prove it, she wore a bag over the shoulder. Everyone who knew her could see the miracle God operated.
    A lady had a lump on her neck, which had spread and reached her ear, and due to this, she could not hear. And this was a consequence of many years she had been addicted to drugs. She had a dressing covering the ear rash. During the prayer, she put her hand over the hurt and the lump disappeared as well as the deafness symptoms. She was completely restored to health.

   - Crusade of Faith in Canoas, Guajuviras At a crusade on December 2000, a young lady that had been wearing glasses for eleven years was healed. She used to have only 25% of sight in one eye and 27% in the other. After the intercession, she even felt dizzy due to the light effect for she now had perfect sight.

     Other Opportunities

    On a Tuesday meeting at Teatro Presidente, a lady who was ashamed of asking for prayer was healed; she used to have bone disease in her leg. The sickness had already degenerated part of her bones, what used to bring great pain and she could hardly walk. She was standing on the stairs and when the evangelist Christian passed by her, she asked him to pray for her. She went home with no pain. Later, she was submitted to medical exams and got sure of her healing.

    A man was healed during a Week of Faith in Gravataí. He had been involved in a car accident and due to that he had some problems on the right side of his body. He almost could not hear and his sight was not good, it was not possible for him to move the right arm neither the right leg, so he needed crutches to walk. On the first night, during the prayer, he could taste the blessing of walking free, without the crutches. On the following night, other miracles happened: he could see and hear perfectly again.

    Another man had been hospitalized at the Military Hospital of Porto Alegre due to cancer. It had already degenerated the knees' nerves, so he was not able to walk anymore, and it had got to his brain, so he could not tell his relatives and friends from other people. Doctors had said his life would not last more than 48 hours, so his wife had already called their relatives from Mato Grosso to the farewell. When entering the dark room where the man was, Christian prayed rebuking the spirit of death and giving an order to the cancer cells, telling them to die in Jesus' name. Three days later, the man rose from bed completely restored to health for the Lord's glory, bringing amazement to the doctors involved in his case.

    In November 1998, in the Crusade of Faith in Santa Maria, Christian went to the Military Hospital to intercede for a just born baby who was facing death. At the hospital, Christian spoke to the nurses, that told him this was a irreversible case, because the baby had a problem in one of the heart's valve, and a transplant was necessary - a very risky surgery. Answering, Christian told the nurses: "Today you will see what my God can do, and this baby girl will leave this place within two days. Then you will go to the crusade downtown receive a new life." Two days later, there was news: the little girl was discharged and the nurses did go to the crusade and met Jesus Christ.

    On November 2000, during a meeting at Teatro Presidente, a young couple desperately came to the platform crying for help, carrying a baby and an oxygen tube connected to a probe on the baby. They told the evangelist Christian that the oxygen was over and the 9 months-old baby depended on it to live, because he had both lungs badly formed. Christian, copiously crying, took the child in his arms, and for some minutes he held the baby on prayer. Months later, through a radio program on FM 90.3, Christian got to know the child had been totally restored to health.

   Once, on the radio program 'Christ is the Answer', Christian had prayed and a man in Lajeado - RS had felt his right nostril stinging while driving. This man had this nostril closed since he was born, and during the prayer the pain was so strong that he had to pull over. Then he realized he was breathing through the right nostril for the first time in his life.
