The Evangelist Christian Santiago Lo Iacono was born on March 13th 1973, in Porto Alegre - RS, Brazil. He graduated in Law at UFRGS (Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul) in 1996 and now he works for the Federal Justice Department. He is married to Carolina Figueiró Lo Iacono and they have a son named Felipe, born in February 2001.
   He has preached in twenty-nine Crusades of Faith from 1998 to 2001, and trough his ministry he has seen more than fifteen thousands people converting to Jesus.
   He was born in a wealthy family that gave him the chance to study in one of the best schools in his hometown, where he used to be a very good student. Through his childhood and adolescence he practiced sports, he has been the vice champion in the State Judo Championship and in the Swimming National Championship, sport in which he has established a State record. But all he has had never filled the emptiness of his heart.
    On December 5th to 7th 1986, he traveled to Montevideo - Uruguay, for Isaias Figueiró - his father's close friend - invited his family to. There he was touched by the way the Gospel was preached outdoors by the Evangelist Carlos Annacondia and by the number of people who were set free due to that. This happened when he was 13, and culminated with his conversion to Jesus, in the beginning of 1987, in a youth camp in the city of Viamão. Then, he got involved with music and participated in the praise ministry of the church he used to congregate.
    On the evening of February 4th 1988, another touching fact happened when the American couple Charles and Frances Hunter - who leads one of the most known miracles ministries in the world - was preaching in Porto Alegre. Christian was part of the team that prayed for the ill, and by the end of the event a 19 years-old deaf mute girl was brought to his presence by her family. "- I had learned that the illnesses that could not be healed by doctors, usually were caused by evil spirits. So when I laid my hands on the lady, I rebuked the deafness muteness spirit and she, for everyone's amazement, spoke for the first time in her whole life - saying the word "Jesus" - when she was asked to go to the platform to testify.
    As the years were going by, he felt the need of having a bigger commitment to God, for he realized that many of his Christian friends - including him - were weak when facing the sin. So, when he got home late night on August 12th 1993, he bended knees in his bedroom and prayed to the Father: "God, I don't want be a religious person, neither a frustrated Christian. From tonight on, I want to get to know you." Then, a Psalms passage came to his heart: "And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord hast not forsaken them that seek thee" (9,10). Since this day, his life has never been the same. He began to pray and to read the Bible through many hours every day, and Holy unction was upon him and a intrepidity began to grow in him, and they would manifest wherever he go.
    In March 1995, when he was 22 years old, he began to preach to the youth in the church whose pastor is Isaías Figueiró, with whom he developed a relationship that had great influence over his ministry development. One year later, he went to a Morris Cerullo's convention, in Chicago, USA, and in November 1996, he went to a Benny Hinn's Miracles Crusade, in Atlanta, USA. There he was touched by the miracles God did through worship and praise.
   From 1997 on, people from different places began to invite him to preach, cities like Novo Hamburgo and Gravataí. And in May 1998, he had the opportunity to lead his first crusade with tents, in Gravataí, in the Vila Rica district, from the 20th to the 23rd. Since then, his journey with the tents includes cities like: Porto Alegre, Pelotas, Rio Grande, São José do Norte, Criciúma, Alvorada, Guaíba, Nova Petrópolis, Novo Hamburgo, Canoas, Cachoeirinha and Charqueadas, among others. He has also been to the cities of Macaé and Volta Redonda (in Rio de Janeiro State), where he could preach to the youth (over five thousands people).
   According to him, there are two important things that must be considered when proclaiming the Gospel: First, a biblical salvation message, clear and objective to the audience; and second, that the signs and wonders of God prove what is being preached. God has raised him with a strong and convinced message, many times calling the church's attention to its responsibilities and to the urgent need of sanctification; besides, many miracles happen every meeting. These are the distinctions of his ministry.
   Christian has attended many conventions and evangelistic crusades with Morris Cerullo, R. W. Schambach, Carlos Annacondia, Yiye Avila, Billy Graham, Benny Hinn, among others. He has also been preaching in New York to Brazilian and Hispanic congregations, as well as in Chile, in San Carlos city. Besides, he has been Joan Gieson, Pedro Ybarra (Carlos Annacondia's pastor) and Mikael Bowman's (Peter Youngreen's coordinator) translator in Brazil. In addition to this, he hosts a daily radio program called "Christ is the answer", and a cable TV program in Porto Alegre.
